Less than a year after it opened, UT Physicians at Sienna Village celebrated the arrival of its 10,000th patient when Mary Koehler recently stepped through the door.

“Reaching the milestone of serving the 10,000th patient at UT Physicians at Sienna Village is amazing since we’re just now coming up on the first anniversary of opening the clinic,” says Andrew Casas, UT Physicians chief operating officer. “We’re sincerely grateful to the community for embracing UT Physicians as a valued provider of medical care.”

“A friend of mine went there for the grand opening, and I remembered her saying she liked it, so when I got ready to switch physicians, I called them,” says Koehler, a Fort Bend resident. “Each time I go there, everyone is so friendly and they make me feel welcomed to be there.”

Koehler, as with any patient at the clinic, is able to see a team of doctors in a single location, which for her includes her family physician, gynecologist, and internal medicine physician.

“What I really like is that the other physicians are also right there. They have all gotten to know me and can talk face-to-face about my care,” she says.

Casas presented Koehler with flowers and a certificate documenting the occasion, as well as gift cards donated by H-E-B, Firestone, and Which Wich Superior Sandwiches.

Conveniently located adjacent to H-E-B in the Sienna Village Shopping Center, the comprehensive health center serves Sienna Plantation, Lake Olympia, Riverstone, and neighboring communities and offers primary and specialty care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
