Wang elected treasurer of Sexual Medicine Society of North America
Dr. Run Wang, associate professor of surgery and the Cecil M. Crigler, MD Chair in Urology, recently was elected treasurer of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA) at the organization’s annual meeting in San Francisco.
E
stablished in 1994, the SMSNA is an association of multidisciplinary healthcare professionals and scientists interested in the advancement of sexual medicine in North America.
The mission of the SMSNA is to promote the highest standards of care in sexual medicine and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and the latest research in the field of sexual medicine. With nearly 800 members, the SMSNA is one of the most active societies in the world in sexual medicine, holding scientific meetings biannually.
Wang also is the director of Sexual Medicine in the Department of Urology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and the current secretary general for the World Chinese Urological Society.
