24 Hour Nurse Hotline

Our nurses are standing by to answer any of your health-related questions.

During a hurricane is the most inopportune time to have a health-related issue, but it happens and UT Physicians is prepared. Our nurse triage line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer your questions and provide medical assistance.

What services does the nurse triage line provide?

The team is comprised of 39 registered nurses, led by Robin Riggs, MSN, RN, senior nurse manager. With backgrounds in multiple medical specialties, our nurses can assist patients with medical problems, medications, and treatments. The staff is even able to contact a pharmacist or provider on behalf of a caller.

“In the past hurricane seasons, my team worked diligently to respond to urgent medical calls from our patients. We were there for them then, and we plan to be there for them now,” said Riggs.  “If someone needs help, all they need to do is call our line and we will be there to help.”

How to reach the 24-hour nurse advice line?
