A forum, “Recent Developments in Treating Bipolar Disorder,” will be hosted from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, by The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the UTHealth School of Dentistry, Room 4330, 7500 Cambridge St.

The moderator is Vineeth John, M.D., M.B.A., UT Physicians psychiatrist and UTHealth associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences. Panelists include Prashant Gajwani, M.D., UT Physicians psychiatrist and associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences; Flavio Kapczinski, M.D., Ph.D., UT Physicians psychiatrist and professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences; Iram Kazimi, M.D., UT Physicians psychiatrist and assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences; and Jair Soares, M.D., Ph.D., UT Physicians psychiatrist, professor and chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and executive director of The University of Texas Harris County Psychiatric Center.
