Effrosyni Apostolidou, M.D., assistant professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, has an interest in hematological malignancies, but also in benign diseases of the blood, such as platelet disorders, thrombosis hemostasis and sickle cell disease.
Dr. Apostolidou has co-authored several articles in the area of hematology and participated in a clinical trial design of new anti-leukemic agents.
She has presented her research work at medical conferences worldwide.
