Elizabeth Newlin, M.D., associate professor and vice chair of child psychiatry at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, has extensive experience with psychopharmacology.
Dr. Newlin is a strong supporter of a holistic approach to recovery and is well-versed in mentalization based treatment (MBT) and several forms of cognitive behavioral therapy including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
When not at work, Dr. Newlin enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, camping and listening to music.
