Gregory A. Lamaris, MD, PhD, earned his medical degree for the University of Crete School of Health Sciences in Greece. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Following his training in plastic surgery, Dr. Lamaris completed fellowship training in hand surgery at State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr. Lamaris completed his training with a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center before joining the Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School as an assistant professor.
