Dr. Jeffrey Liang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
Dr. Liang specializes in Primary Care Sports Medicine with an emphasis on the full care of the athletic person, from the common cold to the non-operative management of injuries and injury prevention. Certified in imPACT testing, Dr. Liang also evaluates and manages concussions.
Dr. Liang comes from a family of physicians and has been practicing in the Houston area since 2002. Dr. Liang treats patients of all ages. He chose sports medicine for the opportunity it provides to work with young athletes. He enjoys the satisfaction of watching his patients resume their activities and accomplish their goals following an injury. He serves as team physician for Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg.
Dr. Liang and his wife, who is a pediatrician, have four children. They are very involved in their church, Redeemer Sugar Land, and enjoy staying active as a family playing many sports including skiing and snowboarding.
