Shaila Gowda, M.D., specializes in the care of patients with epilepsy of all types. She has specialized training in evaluating patients with medically refractory epilepsy for surgical treatment options. She also has a special interest in providing care for women who suffer from epilepsy. She believes in fostering a relationship between the provider and patient to deliver the best care on an individual basis.
Dr. Gowda is an assistant professor of neurology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
