Shaojie Han, M.D., is a board certified adult psychiatrist, fellowship-trained addiction psychiatrist. He received his medical degree in at Tongji Medical University, China, and completed his residency training in psychiatry at UMDNJ – Rutgers Medical School. During his fellowship, he refined his expertise in treating patients with mental illnesses and substance abuse.
Dr. Han is experienced in the evaluation and management of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, borderline personality disorder and substance use disorders. His therapeutic approaches include medications and psychotherapies. As an assistant professor at McGovern Medical School, he is actively involved in medical education and research. He has contributed to publications in scientific journals and co-authored medical books for mental health professionals.
Dr. Han is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. He is dedicated to creating a healthy outcome for all of his patients and being an advocate for people who suffer from mental illnesses.
