Srinivas Ramireddy, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He also finished advanced endoscopy training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). Whether you need simple treatments or complex care, his general and advanced gastroenterology expertise allows him to provide comprehensive options for his patients.
He treats many acute and chronic conditions, such as acid reflux, hiatal hernia, abdominal pain, anemia, GI bleeding, large colon polyps removal, and other digestive issues. He also helps with bile duct disorders, including gallbladder stones and bile duct stones. His experience includes managing various pancreatic disorders, including pancreatic cysts, acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, and peripancreatic fluid collections. If your condition is cancer related, Dr. Ramireddy works closely with oncology and surgery teams to help with the timely diagnosis, staging, and management of gastrointestinal tract cancers.
Dr. Ramireddy is committed to helping patients understand their condition and why the treatment is needed. He usually explores all medically managed options for any GI problem and recommends an endoscopic procedure if strongly required.

Dr. Ramireddy is an assistant professor at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). He is part of the Center for Interventional Gastroenterology at UTHealth (iGUT), a comprehensive academic and research-based program focusing on cutting-edge endoscopic management of gastrointestinal diseases. He is the director of iGUT clinics. As part of his commitment to excellence, he is also a member of local and national gastroenterology committees.
Dr. Ramireddy has worked with pioneers in the field of gastroenterology and was involved in several research projects. His work has been presented at international conferences and published in many well-respected journals.
