Daniela Perdomo was an active teenager excelling in dance and other sports when she was stopped in her tracks by hip dysplasia, a painful condition common in active young women. It progressed to the point where she couldn't walk without severe pain. She and her family turned to UT Physicians orthopedic surgeon Alfred A.
