Physician and clinician resources at UTHealth Houston

This section provides Quality and Research training opportunities from the Department of Pediatrics for physicians and clinicians. Quality improvement resources include:

• Quality council members: McGovern Medical School Department of Pediatrics council members meet monthly to discuss ways to refine process efficiency and determine ways to improve health statistics.
• QI Projects: The Department of Pediatrics leads McGovern Medical School in quality improvement, with over 170 QI projects since 2017.
• Clinical Safety and Effectiveness Course: a course that teaches current and future quality leaders lean, Six Sigma, leadership and change management skills. Contact Eric Thomas or Jean McBride for more information.
