Ana B. Mosquera Pelegrina is a dedicated, board-certified OB-GYN committed to supporting her patients’ well-being at every stage of life. With a focus on both physical and emotional health, she specializes in perimenopause and menopause care, sexual health, vulvar dermatoses, and preventative medicine. Certified by The Menopause Society as a menopause provider (MSCP), she is passionate about providing women with comprehensive care to help them navigate life’s transitions and empowers patients with the knowledge and care they need to thrive. She understands the importance of quality of life and how life changes can significantly affect how you view and see yourself. While treatments may include medications, Mosquera emphasizes the importance of lifestyle changes in achieving optimal health, and she believes that prevention is key to long-term well-being.
Mosquera was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she completed her medical education in 2014 at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine before moving to Houston to complete her OB-GYN residency at Baylor College of Medicine. After settling in Houston 10 years ago, she has become a trusted healthcare provider in the community and plans to remain long-term.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Mosquera offers personalized, culturally sensitive care. A member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), she is committed to promoting sexual well-being at every stage of a woman’s life. Sexual health concerns can be deeply personal and sensitive, and Mosquera feels privileged to support her patients through this journey. She works closely with patients to assess and manage sexual dysfunction, understanding that achieving the best outcomes often requires a multidisciplinary approach.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, exercising, and spending quality time with her husband, children, and miniature schnauzers.
