Aubrey Carhill, M.D., is a subspecialty physician within the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Dr. Carhill completed a three-year joint academic post-doctoral fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism through Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Prior to joining UTHealth, she was a faculty member at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center within the Department of Endocrine Neoplasia where she specialized in treatment of thyroid cancer and endocrine tumors.
Dr. Carhill has experience in the clinical management of patients with a broad spectrum of general endocrine disorders as well as endocrine oncology, thyroid disorders, and thyroid cancer. She has been the recipient of competitive grant funding and has authored high-impact publications.
Dr. Carhill is a board-certified physician in both endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism and internal medicine. She has a strong interest in medical education and has been involved at all levels throughout her career. She is an active member of both local and national endocrine organizations including the American Thyroid Association, The Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
