Heather Sandifer received her undergraduate degree from Abilene Christian University. In 2005, she went on to complete her master’s degree in bioscience and physician assistant studies from the Medical College of Ohio, which has since merged with the University of Toledo. She spent time working with the pediatric surgery and trauma team at Toledo Children’s Hospital, Clear Lake Regional Hospital, and also has experience working in urgent care. In 2020, Heather joined the orthopedic trauma team at UT Physicians. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and also licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
Heather maintains active memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
When not seeing patients, she spends time serving the community with friends, and enjoys the outdoors, good food, spending time with her family, and listening to music.
