Jacquelyn Okeke is a licensed clinical social worker with UT Physicians. She provides individual, family and group psychotherapy to children and adolescents. She utilizes a client-centered approach to meet her patients where they are in life.
Ms. Okeke carefully listens to the whole story from her patients and together they devise a plan on the best way to intervene.
Her clinical work focuses on the use of psychotherapy to treat a wide variety of issues in children and adolescents including depression, trauma, anxiety, family conflicts, issues surrounding grief, bereavement and adjustment issues.
Ms. Okeke received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston. She has extensive knowledge of the child welfare system including foster care and adoption, as well as experience working in the hospital setting.
