James Gregory, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. He treats the full spectrum of shoulder and elbow conditions, including the unique demands of the overhead athlete or the daily struggles caused by persistent shoulder or elbow pain. He has extensive experience with nonoperative management, as well as complex arthroscopic and open-surgical techniques.
He’s also a professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and maintains an active interest in clinical research.
Gregory is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation, the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, and the Houston Shoulder Society. He has also been chosen as a reviewer for the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
