Nirav Thosani, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist. His practice philosophy centers on providing personalized care tailored to each patient’s specific clinical problem. He takes time to explain the details of a procedure, allowing each patient to make an informed decision about care and to know, well in advance, what to expect. It is important to him that patients have both timely access to necessary procedures and care coordinated in a multidisciplinary approach.
He’s also a professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, basketball, spending time with his children, and watching football.
