Sarly Butte is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides individual and group psychotherapy to adults in English and Spanish.
Mrs. Butte is experienced in treating survivors of sexual assault and abuse, intimate partner violence, combat trauma, and military sexual trauma. She provides evidence-based treatments for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder including cognitive processing therapy and prolonged exposure therapy. She has worked with adults, adolescents, and children in outpatient and intensive outpatient settings treating anxiety, substance abuse, and depression, and has experience working with individuals in the LGBT community and persons living with HIV/AIDS.
Her clinical approach includes elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavior therapy. Mrs. Butte takes a collaborative approach with patients to help them achieve their goals and work toward healing.
