Taiwo Babatope, MD, MPH, MBA, has extensive training and experience working with children and adolescents. She has particular interests in neurodevelopmental disorders and mood disorders, and believes in a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary evidence-based clinical care. She continuously explores innovative approaches to provide the best possible care to her patients.
Dr. Babatope is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, and serves as associate program director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program. She is the director of the autism spectrum disorders specialty clinic and also a telemedicine-based provider with the UTHealth Houston Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN).
Dr. Babatope maintains active memberships with the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), and the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians.
