Danica J. Lapid, MD, is an OB-GYN providing evidence-based, patient-centered care. She wants her patients to feel heard and empowered throughout the treatment process.
Lapid is also an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in pre-professional studies and psychology at the University of Notre Dame, Lapid returned home, completing her master’s in pre-medical education, medical degree, and OB-GYN residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. With an interest in women’s health, she additionally pursued a dual degree in Master of Public Health at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants in the Houston area, and tackling do-it-yourself projects.
