Elizabeth (Liz) Wang-Giuffre, D.O., earned her medical degree from The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.  She completed her pediatric residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center Houston (UTHealth), where she went on to complete her pediatric cardiology fellowship and serve as the chief pediatric cardiology fellow.  She was awarded both the “Best Teaching Fellow” and “Best Resident Advocate” by the pediatric residents in 2016.

Dr. Wang-Giuffre is board-certified in pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics. She has a passion for delivering the highest level of care for patients with congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiac disease.

As a community-based pediatric cardiologist with UT Physicians, Dr. Wang-Giuffre consults at all of the Memorial Hermann campuses and several other hospitals including The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, Methodist Sugar Land and Houston Northwest.

Dr. Wang-Giuffre values the importance of family centered care.  She is known for her calming bedside manner and ability to put patients and their family at ease.  She takes pride in taking the time to empower them with easy to understand explanations and includes them in critical health discussions.

Overall everyone was great *Dr. Wang was exceptional great, she was very thorough and we loved that about her, we didn't know what expect, we was new patient, our doctor moved, but *Dr. Wang meet all expectation!!

She was excellent in including my daughter in the discussion, from asking her questions about her symptoms directly, to explaining what she was doing or talking about and asking my daughter if she understood.

I felt like she did not care about our concerns. She kept insisting we increase [...] [...] & [...]. She didn't care that we have fears of using [...] [...]due to it being a potential cause to our [...][...]. She was insistent we use it.
