When I made my appointment no information was given to me about office procedures as it relates to COVID, insurance, paperwork. I anticipate that arriving only slightly before my appointment time, contributed to my wait time, paperwork and insurance probably needed to be processed. Which seems like could have been avoided...When I made the appointment. I accepted to be seen by the physician that I made the appointment with, but saw two other individuals, unfortunately I don't know either of their names. Although one individual was introduced, I didn't catch the name through the masks and the other wasn't introduced, so I'm unsure what that person's role was in my healthcare visit. Patient rapport is important and doctor/patient trust is important, to me anyhow. Procedures weren't explained, until I asked. There was no explanation of what was happening and why. The team I saw seemed to be rushed. The physician I saw was compassionate, but that doesn't change the fact that I felt like a subject rather than a patient. |

I sometimes felt that I had to ask more questions to know what was going on (type of procedure being used) and for things I could and couldn't do post surgery. wish some of this information was forthcoming without me having to have a list of prepared questions in order to get this info. |
