Surya N. Mundluru, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. His training experience has given him a unique perspective related to pediatric care and has presented on various topics at national meetings.
He started in the Department of Internal Medicine and Department of Pediatrics at the prestigious Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He developed a love for pediatric orthopedic treatment and care and then went on to pursue further training at NYU Langone Hospital for joint diseases in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Mundluru is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America where he serves on national committees.
He has a passion for tennis, and during his time at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, he was a NCAA Division I tennis player.
